The HOP Festival is an annual international festival dedicated to street and underground dance and contemporary stage creation, held in Barcelona between September and December.
With an open, diverse perspective and in dialogue with other disciplines, the festival features emerging and established artists from Catalonia, Spain, and the international scene, promoting exchange, professionalisation, and contemporary creation. HOP builds partnerships with festivals and institutions around the world and collaborates biennially with Mercat de les Flors.
Its programme combines performances, battles, jams, workshops, and community activities in both conventional venues and urban settings, offering a vibrant and inclusive experience that reclaims the street as a space for creation and resistance.
The festival is an initiative of the association El Generador Art i Creació Cultural, and is part of a collaborative network involving artists, institutions, and communities at both local and international levels.
