CIA PERNASSOS – PRESENTATION
Cia PerNassos is made up of two artists specialising in clown, circus and street theatre, with extensive experience in bringing events, cabarets and circus galas to life. With their universe full of humour and imagination, they have performed in renowned venues.
Jean Claude and Rebeca are two very special ushers at a great circus who, between performances, transform into masters of ceremonies capable of turning any wait into a celebration. With humour, tenderness, madness and a healthy dose of absurdity, they will surprise the audience with unexpected situations, small feats and plenty of interaction. A fun and crazy thread running throughout the day that will entertain audiences of all ages.
CIRC VERMUT – ‘LA PARADETA’:
In ‘La Paradeta’, the company transforms aperitif time into a crazy show where circus and drink service come together in equal measure. With juggling involving oranges and knives, impossible balances, Chinese pole acrobatics and hilarious situations, the audience will be immersed in a universe full of humour and surprises. A fresh, participatory family show combining technical skill, comedy and Circ Vermut’s unmistakable absurdist style.
Circ Vermut is a circus company founded in 2016 by Jordi Mas and David Candelich, two artists trained at the Cronopis circus association. Throughout their career, they have developed their own universe, characterised by absurd humour, street circus and close interaction with the audience, bringing their shows to fairs, festivals and local celebrations throughout the region.
JOSUÉ – ‘FAMILY JUGGLING’ (excerpt):
Josué, a visual artist, illusionist and juggler, presents an excerpt from his show ‘Family Juggling’, a family-friendly performance combining humour, audience participation and impressive technical skill. In this cabaret format, he performs the numbers ‘Impossible Balance’ and ‘The Ball Party’, where impossible balances, juggling with balls and boxes, and interaction with the audience turn each performance into a surprising and entertaining experience.
CIA AMELIA CADWALLADER – ‘LAS COSSAS NOSTRA’:
In ‘Las Cossas Nostra’, together with Mr. Vita, two aspiring gangsters come to life who, through hula hoops, ball manipulation and plenty of humour, deliver a dynamic and surprising show for all audiences, where improvisation and interaction with the audience take centre stage.
Amelia Cadwallader is an Australian multidisciplinary artist with more than 25 years of international experience in the performing arts. Her work combines circus, clown and physical theatre through a visual and participatory language.
CIA INDHHIA & KHAM – ‘SAUZE’:
‘Sauze’ is an urban dance piece exploring abandonment and memory, inspired by deserted villages. Through the connection between bodies that support and transform one another, it evokes traces and invisible presences.
Founded in 2018, Cia Indhhia & Kham explores urban dance from a poetic and contemporary perspective, creating its own language that pushes the boundaries of movement and stage narrative. The project was developed during a residency at Espai Cultural Font de La Mina.
